9:50 AMThere are a TON of fun things to do at our Lake of the Ozarks resort. From our on-site amenities to our weekly events, you and your family can stay entertained during your week-long vacation to the Lake of the Ozarks. Attending our events are a great way to get to know your neighbors and others staying at Lakewood Resort. We pride ourselves on offering a fun and friendly place for your family to stay and our events help us accomplish just that! Take a look at our calendar of events below for our guests to enjoy.
MONDAY:
Meet Your Neighbors
Join us for Coffee, Juice, Donuts & Door Prizes at 9:00 am in the game room (below the Resort Office). Meet your neighbors and let us help you plan your week. Area information flyers and maps available in Resort Office and Game Room.
Spa in a Jar
Learn to make a pampering salt scrub with your favorite scents in the game room from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. $5.00 RSVP by 5:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Resort Office.
Craft Class
From 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm, come and paint a new vacation memory to take home with you. $6.00 or $10.00 per item. RSVP by Sunday at 5:00 p.m. at the Resort Office.
TUESDAY:
Mary Kay
Come by the game room and meet Ronda, our new Mary Kay representative from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. Free facials will be available. See flyer in your packet or give her a call at 573-280-3391.
Chair Massage
Join us 9:00 am to noon in the clubhouse / hot tub area to enjoy a relaxing 20 minute neck and shoulder chair massage. Get into the optimum relaxing state with this $20 on-site massage opportunity. RSVP by Monday evening at the Resort Office to reserve your spot!
Photography Class
Join Captain Tom from 10:30 am to 11:30 am in the game room. He will guide you to taking better pictures with a 25 mm or digital camera to help you better capture your vacation memories. RSVP by Monday evening if you wish to attend this class.
Hot Dogs
From 4:00 - 5:00 come join us for grilled hot dogs in the recreation area behind building 300 and 500. We will also be serving ice cream sandwiches, chips, water, and soda. This event costs $3.00 per person and RSVP is required by Monday evening.
WEDNESDAY:
Fishing Cruise
From 7:30 am to 10:30 am, fish the Lake of the Ozarks by boat while our Captain does the driving. Join in on this excursion for $25 / fisherman and $15 / non-fishing passenger. Tackle and poles will be provided, as well. Sign up early at the Resort Office for the morning fishing cruise!
The Power of Essential Oils
At 9:30 am to 10:00 am, join us in the game room to learn how essential oils can help improve your health and wellness goals. Make a blend of your own to take home! RSVP by Tuesday evening for the class.
Lake Cruise
Enjoy a cruise of the Lake of the Ozarks aboard a pontoon while our Captain does the driving. Join us from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm OR 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm to explore the waters. An adult is $15, children 4 - 12 are $8, and children under 3 are free. Sign up for the cruise early and meet us at the Lakewood Boat Dock to set sail!
THURSDAY:
Jewelry Making Class
Join us from 10:00 am to 11:00 am in the game room for crafting fun. The cost is $10.00 per bracelet. You must RSVP for this class by Wednesday at 5:00 pm as space is limited.
Coaster Mania
One of our newest activities where you can learn how to make your own coasters for $5.00 for 4 coasters. RSVP to join us in the game room from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
Music Show
At 8:00 pm at the Main Street Music Hall, enjoy the live and entertaining show at the Lake of the Ozarks. Reserve discounted tickets at the Resort office by Wednesday at noon.
DAILY:
Timber Falls Indoor Water Park
Ideal for a rainy day, we have tickets available for this indoor water park in which you and your kids can enjoy.
Big Surf Water park
Stop by the office for discounted tickets to one of the area's largest attractions. From slides to a lazy river and much more, you and the family can stay entertained all day!
