I'm so lucky & proud to have my Lakewood friends. I've been an owner for 32 years and have NEVER gone anywhere else. I love my resort and the wonderful people who take care of it for all of us owners. Sending a heartfelt Thank You to all of them for their kind expression of sympathy on the recent passing of my mother. My parents both loved joining me at the Lake and felt like it was their 2nd home too. We shared many happy vacations together at Lakewood. I'm deeply touched by this expression of kindness. Lakewood is no ordinary resort or hotel - it is so much more. It is family and home. Thank You all for remembering me.

Even when the weather is cold & gray in the winter, Lakewood is still a lovely destination. I had a wonderful time last week relaxing in front of the fireplace with a mug of cocoa & my coloring books. Looking out over the water, watching the birds, so quiet & relaxing. I can barely wait until next year. (LOVE the new fireplace!!)

My husband, my 6 year old and I recently spent a fun week at Lakewood Resort. Our two bedroom, two bathroom waterfront condo was very clean and specious. It was nicely decorated too and had everything that we needed (including an electric fireplace and a huge balcony). The employees were very friendly and helpful. Good location close to downtown. Lots of restaurants in the area. We'd definitely recommend this place to anyone.
The fireplaces are delightful!! Use the remote to change the settings, turn on & off... wish I had one at home!! All that's missing is chopping the firewood, lugging the firewood into the house, cleaning the firebox, building the fire... NOT!!

We love the electric grill on the deck! We can enjoy the outdoors even while making dinner.
